Imaginary Party via Pinterest

It’s been one of those weeks where the countdown to Friday starts Monday evening. One of those weeks where you stay in bed longer hoping that maybe just maybe one more day has passed. One of those weeks where you treat yourself to a large cookies n’ cream milkshake because you’re sure you won’t make it through the day without one. Yes, it’s been one of those weeks.

So in honor of a craptastic week and to avoid a tear-soaked post or random expletives, I will focus my energies on Pinterest and the beautiful things that distract me from my own life. Sounds good? Yes? Okay, here we go.

In my imaginary house, this slide would be a necessity. And if you came over, it would be a requirement to ride it while screaming, “Wheee!” with both hands in the air.

And you’d ask to use the bathroom because the excitement was just toooo much. Only to find that my bathroom is amazing. You’re jealous.

I would decide to have an impromptu cocktail party with my imaginary friends and we’d eat ten some of these

and drink some of this

followed by some red velvet brownies (or red velvet anything)

I would wear this and pretend it’s very comfortable. “Oh just something I threw together.

Of course  you wouldn’t leave empty handed

and we’d all live happily ever after.

IS IT FRIDAY YET?!

love this! Pinterest definitely distracts me from reality & gives me serious anxious to do a million and a half things. more recipes to cook, parties to host, fabulously redecorate our place, reorganize the home, and go shopping for that chic outfit. and all the while nothing is getting done because I am on the damn thing!
love your blog. what a sweet little boy you have :)
